PURPOSE AND SUMMARY STATEMENT



Under the direction of Plant Manager, maintains all machinery and equipment in operating condition according to all applicable standards and company established guidelines.



ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS


Performs scheduled and routine preventative maintenance on all machines and equipment.



Maintains the Maintenance Management program which includes logging and documenting all repairs and maintenance performed on equipment or within the facility.



Troubleshoots and diagnoses problems or malfunctions with equipment. Performs or schedules necessary repairs as needed.



Applies basic and theoretical knowledge to steam generation equipment.



Coordinates with and manages outside repair vendors on larger or warranted repair projects.



Orders maintenance material, parts, and supplies, as needed, to keep equipment in good working condition.



Provides leadership and training to Maintenance Technicians.



Evaluates and recommends equipment improvements and/or replacements to increase efficiencies, capabilities and/or safety.



Maintains company equipment according to company standards, adheres to the company Uniform Policy, and maintains the appropriate professional image.



OTHER JOB FUNCTIONS



May serve on the location Safety Committee and adheres to company environmental health and safety policies and training.



Follows GROWMARK's Code of Conduct and Corporate Compliance Program, Environmental Health and Safety, OSHA and DOT policies and procedures, as they apply.



Performs all other duties as assigned.



REQUIREMENTS



Normally requires a high school diploma or the equivalent thereof, and 3 to 5 years of equipment repair and related experience.



Understanding and experience with maintaining gas-fired steam boiler including daily checks and preventative maintenance of the steam boiler. 3rd Grade Stationary Engineer qualification desired.



Welding ability/experience desired.



Understanding and experience with mechanical diagnosis, service, repairs, maintenance, and upkeep of machinery and equipment.



Professional communication and customer service skills and the ability to comprehend simple instructions and communicate one-on-one and in small groups with customers and other employees.



Skills required include the ability to work independently as well as in a team-oriented environment, time management, basic math and computer skills.Must always have a high standard of safety consciousness.



Ability to frequently lift up to 80 pounds.



Ability to be accessible and on call for repairs and emergencies at the discretion of management.



Demonstrates essential abilities including business knowledge, collaboration, communication, customer focus, decision making and skill development.



Must have and maintain a valid driver's license and satisfactory driving record.



Ability and willingness to participate in required training that may include education on GROWMARK's policies and procedures and additional training as it relates to the requirements of the position.

Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
