Production Coordinator

Requires strong organizational skills and keen eye for detail as well as creativity and flexibility. Comfortable communicating with clients, able to make quick decisions, must be tech savvy and have excellent computer skills including a capacity for excel, word, and creative suite applications. Willing to go above and beyond the call of duty to get the job done. Above average communication skills in both written and verbal form is very important for a production coordinator. An ability to work on several details of a project at the same time while still coordinating the big picture is a definite must for the professional in this field.
Key role
The Production Coordinator is responsible for the on-time delivery of all creative projects; including (but not limited to) TV spots, long-form video, radio spots, streaming audio spots, direct mail copy, client and in-house web-site elements; video, audio, text, graphic, and photo. Provide logistical support to production department and control all production components for each project.
Duties include;
Developing and maintaining a timeline for all projects.
Developing and maintaining a budget for all projects.
Scheduling and tracking said projects.
Making sure producers have all the necessary materials on site at the right time to ensure that production stays on schedule;
Proper Equipment.
Finished, client-approved scripts.
Any on-camera talent:
spokespeople, extras, etc.
Props, costumes.
Location is prepared:
Signage is in place, vehicles cleaned and arranged, showroom set up as specified, etc.
Manage the flow of information between the various individuals involved on any given project.
Liaise with subcontractors - obtain quotes and/or signed contracts (when necessary) and clearly outline expectations, dates and services required. Prepare and provide information necessary for the subcontractor to complete their assignment(s). Set and maintain timeline for delivery.
Check quality and accuracy of all assets received from both internal and external sources - scripts, graphics, audio, photos, illustrations, video. Arrange necessary corrections/ reproduction; liaise with account executive, producer, writer, and/or client where necessary. Answer queries, progress chase.
Obtain and maintain all necessary paperwork:
finished scripts, shot sheets, client approvals, talent releases, co-op approval, revisions.
Maintain and organize video library; raw footage, factory footage (current and past model year).
Store and retrieve assets - ensure files are correctly named; place files in correct location; update and move files as necessary; direct users (project team) to appropriate material or files.
Assist with audio recordings, video and photo shoots as necessary.
Troubleshooting issues with regards to script revisions, client expectations, understanding of agreements as well as resolving conflicts in a productive and acceptable manner for all involved.
Responding to problems and issues as they develop during the progress of a project and anticipating and solving any issues with regards to equipment, personnel or supplies before they become problematic.

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
