ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS
Promotes customer satisfaction by courteous, confidential service. Resolves all customer requests in a timely manner.
Communicates changes to appropriate staff, honors patient preferences and completes the ReTherm process or Room Service.
Visits patients to confirm daily menu selection, all patient food and diet related needs. Communicates diet-related needs to clinical team members.
Accurately completes patient tray process: menu selections, tray assembly, tray delivery to patients and pickup as assigned, special request and off-time meal deliveries.
Must transport ReTherm cart (and/or room service transport cart) to and from the Food and Nutrition department, patient rooms and various hospital locations.
Works cooperatively with team members, patients, and patient unit staff; coordinating customer services.
Adheres to department dress code. Black Skid Resistant Shoes, Black Slacks, White Collar Shirt, Black Apron.
Ensures Patient Satisfaction score for the department is met.
Ensures accurate and timely processing of patient information from written and verbal communication. Communicates appropriately to the diet office personnel
Hours: 3 12hr shifts Rotating week-ends

_Experience_
Minimum of 1 year of direct patient care in a hospital setting and/or 1 year minimum in foodservice is preferred.

Education
Knowledge equivalent to a high school degree preferred.

Must be neat, clean, and practice good personal hygiene.
Must follow professional dress code.
Must be able to perform duties standing and walking.
Ability to work accurately and follow dietary instructions.

The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
