Summary:
The receptionist is the first point of contact for Bethany Heights and Bethany Home greeting visitors, family, friends, applicants and vendorsThe receptionist will provide administrative support across the organizationEnsure that all receptionist responsibilities are completed accurately and delivered with high quality and in a timely mannerSuch duties must be in accordance with federal, state and local regulations to ensure that the highest degree of quality care is maintained at all times
Qualifications:
o No record of abuseo Must be able to read, write, speak, and understand the English languageo Must be able to follow written and oral instructionso Proven working experience in a front office handling receptionist responsibilitieso Proficient with Microsoft Officeo Professional appearanceo Solid communication skills both written and verbalo Minimum of a high school diplomaEssential Job Functions:
o Answer telephone, determine nature of call and direct call to appropriate individualo Receive requests from within the facility and locate individualo Receive inquiries and release information according to established policieso Greet visitors; direct to appropriate office and/or tenant apartmento Operate copier, fax, and other such office equipment/ computerso Assist department managers in administrative matters as assignedo Attend and participate in educational in-serviceso Report any equipment malfunctions to supervisoro Maintain confidentiality of all tenant and staff informationo Serve visitors by greeting, welcoming, and directing them as appropriate o Receive and sort daily mail/deliveries/courierso Maintain security by following procedures and controlling access (monitor logbook, issue visitor badges)o Update appointment calendars and schedule meetings/appointmentso Perform clerical duties such as filing, photocopying, collating, faxing, and data entry into the computero Conduct business in a professional manner with vendorso Order office supplies for all departmentso Ability to be resourceful and proactive in dealing with issues that may ariseo Ability to organize, multitask, prioritize and work under pressureo Must possess the ability to deal tactfully with tenants, staff, and visitorso Must be able to assist in the evacuation of tenants in an emergency situationo Other duties as assignedPhysical Requirements:

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
